1. Accepting these terms

By uploading, sharing, viewing, downloading or reporting a file, you agree to these terms and the Content policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Temporary hosting

SelfGoneFile provides temporary hosting for supported files. You choose an available storage duration, but a file may become unavailable earlier because it was deleted, reported, technically corrupted or removed to protect the service or comply with a valid legal requirement.

SelfGoneFile is not a backup service. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

3. Your files and responsibilities

• You retain any rights you already hold in your files.
• You must have the rights and permissions required to upload and share them.
• You are responsible for who receives a public file URL.
• You must not use SelfGoneFile to break the law or violate another person's rights.

4. Anonymous use and optional accounts

Uploading without an account does not exempt a user from these rules. If account functionality is available, you are responsible for protecting your credentials and activity performed through that account.

5. Deletion links

A deletion URL is a secret capability. Anyone who obtains it may be able to delete the associated file. Store it securely and do not publish it. SelfGoneFile cannot restore a file deleted with a valid deletion token.

6. Limits and availability

Supported formats, file-size limits, request limits and storage options are shown by the upload interface and may change to preserve security and service capacity. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent storage or that every upload will be accepted.

7. Enforcement

We may restrict access, remove files or suspend account functionality when we reasonably believe these terms or the Content policy were violated. Reports are reviewed in context and may be preserved or disclosed when required by applicable law.

8. Privacy and changes

Our Privacy notice explains the technical and personal data involved in operating the service. We may update these terms as the service changes; the current revision date appears above.
